We are so very pleased to announce the arrival of Bakervill's Style Valton here in our home at Legacy Bordeaux. We first want to thank Chris and Yvette Girling of Moloscyg Kennel (
www.moloscyg.com) in Australia for entrusting us with this magnificent boy. We had been following him for quite some time and had been making plans to import semen from him before the opportunity for him to come here came about. Valton is a larger boy possessing many important attributes that we feel will be very important to our future breeding plans. Of all of the positive things about him the one thing that stands out about Valton more than anything has been in his breeding. He has consistently produced great conformation in his offspring and tremendous health in terms of hips and elbows. Many of his progeny have scored in the top 90th and 100th percentile in PennHip, having a daughter ( Moloscyg Vintage Rose) whose score is the best scoring DDB to date under that method at .28/.28. Now at 45 months of age Valton has been PennHIP scored as well and he too has scored in the top 100th percentile of the breed group. At nearly four years old he still has no sign of DJD and his .31/.39 PennHIP scores are a strong indicator of why it has not developed. He also has consistently reproduced his 0/0 elbow scores in his progeny and with our experiences in the breed, elbows are one of our greatest concerns. Now following his offspring we are seeing great promise in his grandchildren as well. Valton has one of the finest pedigrees in the world today on both the father and mothers side, combine this with his substance, type and soundness what more could you ask for in a Dogue de Bordeaux? We are absolutely over the moon with him and what he can do for our breeding program.
